Thanksgiving in Virginia 1998
Part Three

Tim took the kids to Burger King to get them out from under Candi's feet while she was making last minute preparations. Natalie took her favorite "blankie".

The children like Burger King because it has a neat playground.

    Six-year-old Grace and four-year-old Abigail...

share some French fries.

Mikey liked the big blue slide.

Although not quite two years old...

Natalie, sometimes called "Nanny", is convinced she can do anything the big kids can do.

She liked for Uncle Tom to rock her in the rocking chair or throw her on the couch. She has a wonderful disposition and a big smile for everyone.

This is the parking lot at the rear of Springvale Terrace in Silver Spring, Maryland. Grandmother James lives in room 229.

She said she has made some friends and is liking it better all the time.

One of her best friends is a lady named Eunice. I didn't get to meet her, but Kim has and says she is very nice.

Tim and Candice invited Grandmother to Thanksgiving dinner, but she had made plans to have dinner with Cleo and Jimmy, and Carole and Greg, and their son Joshua and their new baby girl, born the next day after the 90th birthday celebration for Mrs. James on August 30th.

Kim's friend Barry watches the Cowboys getting beat by the Vikings. Barry works at the National Imaging and Mapping Agency in Bethesda.
